I did my nails this afternoon.  You cannot live without pedicure in California, especially in summer.  I was interrupted a few times and I had to re-do some of my nails but finally it’s done.  I like strong color on my toes but keep my finger nails natural for my work.  Now I am presentable to go to church tomorrow.

Azuki & Makiba at nap time.  I had Japanese vermicelli for lunch.  This is something special my mother sent from Japan, called Miwa Somen.  I had what was left.  It’s typical summer meal in Japan.  Oh, don’t I miss Japan?  Well, now I should join them to nap.

I have been suffering from backache lately.  Today, I have headache, too.  Since I cleaned the house, I should rest for the rest of the day.  Todd left for BBQ party at Eric’s.   He will go to work after BBQ and won’t come home until….who knows when.  Easy Saturday afternoon.

We are expecting guests from Friday.  Grace, Megan and Humph are coming on Friday, Mona and Peri will join from Saturday.  Since I have to go to work during the week, I cleaned our guest rooms & bathroom today.  Until Friday, no one/dog will go in there.  I put a sign ‘Do not Enter’ and hired a bouncer to guard the door.

I said “I want to eat french toast” this morning while we were still in bed.  And guess what?  Todd made french toast for us.  Since we wanted to use left overs, we used hamburger buns for french toast.  It was delicious!  What a sweet husband!

Spaghetti Napolitana

Dinner was spaghetti napolitana.  Probably American people don’t eat this.  This is one of the Japanese style spaghetti.  Basically, you put any vegetables with sausage or ham and seasoned with ketchup.  This is kid’s menu.  I used to love this when I was a kid.  Nostalgic dinner menu was because I wanted to use left over sausages.

Today was the end of May (work day), so I did my statistic report.  We have to report, how many patients we visited, how many rounds & family conferences we attended, how much staff ministry, how much administrative duties, how much and what kind of meetings we attended and how many hours we spent on each category etc.  I ended up visiting 131 patients this month.  It is a little less than usual because I missed 5 days this month including holiday.  Usually I visit about 170 patients a month.
